Taste Washington 2021 isn’t an in-person event because of the pandemic. But there is plenty to celebrate this month, and so much Washington wine to love. We recently enjoyed six bottles, samples provided for Taste Washington Wine Month. Taste Washington 2021
Taste Washington 2021 won’t be an in-person event because of the pandemic. But don’t worry – there’s plenty to celebrate in March. Instead of a festival, there is a month-long appreciation of Washington wine and food.
Firstly, Washington wineries will offer promotions, including shipping specials, waived tasting fees, wine discounts, virtual tastings and more. Coronavirus Shuts Wine Festivals and Some Wineries in the Northwest
Wine festivals and some wine release weekends are canceled. Numerous wineries are shutting down tasting rooms or taking special measures to deal with COVID-19 Coronavirus. Below are some event and winery updates as of today (March 14). However, this list does not cover all local wineries. Overall, the situation is changing daily. Therefore, check directly with your favorite wineries to find out their status. And please support the industry by stocking up on wine during this difficult time.
Taste Washington 2020 Canceled
Taste Washington 2020 has been canceled because of concerns about the current COVID-19 Coronavirus situation.
A press release announced: “It is with much disappointment that Taste Washington, due to take place March 19-22, 2020 in Seattle, has been canceled. Due to growing concerns across the U.S., we are unfortunately not able to execute Taste Washington at the quality level our attendees have come to expect. Taste Washington has been a vibrant wine and food festival for more than 20 years, and we are confident that it will return better than ever in March 2021.”
