We enjoyed some fine wine lately, and in case you missed our social media posts about these great bottles, you can catch up here. But we would love it if you would also follow Write for Wine on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
Read on to find out what’s been in our glasses lately!
We had the pleasure and fortune to participate in a Snooth tasting of wine from Ribera del Duero and Rueda, in the heartland of Spain. The two sister regions are located two hours north of Madrid.
Spain’s most popular white grape is Verdejo, which is native to Rueda. We had never tried any of these three white wines before, but as a result of this tasting, we will pour some again in the future. We may even pursue them next year in Spain.
Furthermore, we were told a glass of water is $3 and a glass of local wine is $1 in Ribera del Duero and Rueda. Verdejo, here we come!
