Founder and President Ashley Trout created VITAL Wines, a non-profit winery with proceeds to provide local Washington state vineyard and winery workers with access to affordable health care. Practically every part of their winemaking process is made possible by donations, including grapes and production services. “All profits go toward open-door, free clinics or other healthcare sources for our local wine workers.” Moreover, Ashley’s goal is to help deliver healthcare equity for everyone in the local wine industry.
