Now Being Served: Dinner at Desert Wind Winery

You might recall the wonderful experience we had at Desert Wind Winery last summer.  My blog post Pamper Yourself at Desert Wind Winery shares the wonderful time we had with our hosts Desert Wind owners Greg and Amber Fries.

We also were treated to an outstanding 5-course dinner prepared by Chef Frank Magaña from Picazo 7Seventeen. Since then, we have enjoyed Desert Wind wines and bites created by Frank’s Picazo team at many wine events in the Seattle area. As well, Picazo 7Seventeen moved to Kennewick, and is now called Picazo Restaurant & Bar.

So we were delighted to hear that MOJAVE, a joint venture by Desert Wind and Picazo, is now offering dinner service at the Prosser winery. MOJAVE’s menu features small plates, hand-cut steaks and Northwest seafood, with local, seasonal ingredients and produce from local farmers.

If you are heading to central Washington this summer, mark these spots as must-visits. We’re visiting in September, and are looking forward to seeing Frank, Amber and Greg again.

Cheers!
