And you have a number of options to continue that calming journey, including massage packages, spa rituals, skin therapies, hair styling, fitness, tanning, makeup, teeth whitening and mani-pedis.

Plus, when you’re done, you can go downstairs to drink fine wine and tasty cocktails, and dine on marvelous dishes, right at the resort. And gamble. And stay the night in the luxurious hotel. Happy New Year indeed!

A Personalized Experience

At a recent 24-hour visit to Tulalip Resort, I was pampered with a facial at T Spa, a luxurious, stress-free 14,000 square-foot sanctuary. As I entered, I noticed river rocks, wide bamboo floors, serene candles, and natural foliage with different colors of relaxing lights, all of which contribute to release stress and replace it with soothing calm.

Before going, I admit that I was a bit nervous because I have so many scent-based allergies.  And typically, a spa’s air is thick with aromatherapies. But that is not the case at T Spa, where the scents are light in the lobby and rooms.

In addition, I was fortunate to have an experienced esthetician, Lori Bernethy, to take care of me. Lori understood my allergies and sensitively offered me a variety options of less-scented massage creams and oils. My skin felt bright and rejuvenated when I left.

So don’t let scent-based allergies stop you from pampering yourself. The guest experience is foremost in the minds of the friendly staff at T Spa.

Of Note

We were graciously hosted by Tulalip Resort Casino for our 24-hour visit, although we make frequent trips on our own as well, and have done so for years.

However, this is the first time I visited T Spa, and recommend it as an extra special way to spend your time at Tulalip Resort Casino.

Thank you, Lisa Severn and Allan Aquila, for making our visit so memorable.

Happy New Year!
