Summer Concert Series

CSM concertTickets go on sale Monday June 21 for Chateau Ste. Michelle‘s 36th Summer Concert Series. Yes, the concert series is back, beginning with Fitz and The Tantrums. What happens when you pair a concert at the oldest winery in WA with music, award-winning wine and picturesque surroundings? The result is a special experience. Read on for details.

Chateau Ste. Michelle 2021 Summer Concert Series

Above all, you know it’s truly summer when Chateau Ste. Michelle is alive with the sound of music. In other words, the winery is hosting 14 concerts this year at their scenic outdoor amphitheatre. For instance, we go to at least one concert every year – we’d attend even more if we still lived in the Seattle area. As a result, we have seen John Legend, Bob Dylan, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, Berlin and Joan Jett, among others. Moreover, the lineups are so good that many of our friends go two, three, even four times to enjoy a lazy summer day or evening, kicking back on the manicured lawns of Chateau Ste. Michelle. Ah, summer!

Summer Concert Series: A Note from CSM

“At this time, in accordance with current WA State COVID-19 health protocols, proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours will be required prior to entry. That said, health protocols continue to change and these requirements may no longer be necessary at the time of the concert should state guidelines change. Please plan to review our updated health and safety guidelines on our website as we get closer to concert dates for the latest protocols.”

An Excellent 2021 Calendar

Summer Concert SeriesCertainly, there are fewer concerts this year than in the past. But after a year-plus of COVID restrictions, we are just happy that the series has returned! Whether you prefer rosé, white or red wine, this concert calendar is something to cheer about.

The series kicks off on August 20 with a concert by Fitz & The Tantrums, with special guest Devon Gilfillian. It ends on Sept. 19 with annual favorite, Chris Isaak.

Last year’s John Legend concerts have been rescheduled to Sept. 9 and 10 and consequently, they are both sold out. Most importantly, tickets go quickly for this incredible summer experience, so act soon.

The 2021 Lineup

  • Fitz & The Tantrums, with special guest Devon Gilfillian, Aug. 20
  • An Intimate Evening with Josh Groban, Aug. 24 and 25
  • The Ultimate Queen Celebration with Marc Martel, Aug. 27
  • Chicago, Aug. 28 and 29
  • Tower of Power and WAR, Sept. 5
  • Rodrigo y Gabriela, Sept. 7
  • John Legend (rescheduled/sold out), Sept. 9 and 10
  • Train, Sept. 11 and 12
  • Lake Street Dive, with special guest Allison Russell, Sept. 18
  • Chris Isaaak, Sept. 19

In addition, Chateau Ste. Michelle wines will be available to purchase at the wine tent in the amphitheatre during each show. As well, an array of food vendors will offer a selection of menu items for sale. Meanwhile, you can bring your own picnic baskets and non-alcoholic beverages, if you prefer. Please see the FAQ for more details. You’ll find lots of helpful information there.

Moreover, the winery will also offer its popular Midsummer’s White blend featuring this season’s concert artwork on the label, with $1 from each bottle sold benefiting the CSM Scholarship Fund.
