Karlee ReynoldsWe finally visited Washington’s incredible Treveri Cellars, just south of Yakima, and are still trying to figure out why it took us so long. Treveri is a family-owned sparkling wine house, which has served its bubbles at White House State Department receptions and the James Beard Foundation in New York. After tasting pours from numerous bottles offered by our amazing hostess, Karlee Reynolds, we understand why there is such a buzz. For example, Karlee, a hospitality queen, told us that about 1,000 people stopped by the tasting room over the Memorial Day weekend. Of note, prices of the bottles represent an affordable luxury.

Rosé All Day

Glasses of RoseJune 8 is National Rosé Day, but it’s not the only time to rosé all day! Spring is here and summer is around the corner, and therefore, there’s always an occasion to drink pink. Certainly, it’s time to drink pink on the patio, oceanside or poolside. We sip it on our deck lakeside on warm evenings, and watch its pretty color match the gorgeous Washington sunsets. Blue Sky Day

After sipping on Friã Friõ white and rosé, we understand why. We perfectly paired these two bottles with our deck on a couple of sunny May days. Refreshing, crisp, delicious and light-hearted, these low-alcohol wines feature minerality and a light sparkle. Both bottles are easy to drink. And easy to like. So many words about L'Ecole 41We have so many words to describe the wines crafted at pioneering Washington state winery, L’Ecole 41. For example, words like opulent, magical, stunning, elegant, and more. However, most of all, when we think of L’Ecole, we are constantly impressed with their consistent high-quality wines. Year in and year out, L’Ecole wines stand out. We don’t know anyone who doesn’t rave about their lineup of refreshing whites and luscious reds. Their Spring 2024 releases continue that trend of outstanding wine from Walla Walla.
