Top 20 Wines in 2023Here is our list of our top 20 wines in 2023. We tasted hundreds of wines last year. Some, we bought at wineries and retail outlets. Others, we tasted at wine events. Likewise, some kind folks shared their bottles with us, while others sent us samples. We also tasted many wines on incredible road trips to Horse Heaven Hills, Walla Walla, and Vancouver Island. First, we suggest 20 sparkling, rosé and white wines, followed by 25 reds. For example, many of these holiday wines are special because of their high quality (and high price point). Our Thanksgiving WineThis year, we chose our Thanksgiving wine from the list we shared a few days ago: one white, two Pinots, and the rest of the tawny port we previously opened. Subsequently, the wines that graced our table: L’Ecole 41 2022 Luminesce; Domaine Serene 2017 Evenstad Reserve Pinot Noir; Lenné Estate Vineyard 2018 cinq élus Pinot Noir; and Warre’s Otima 10-Year-Old Tawny Port.
