We had a Port-athon! Four unique Warre’s ports graced our tasting table: Fine White, Warrier Finest Reserve, Otima 10 Tawny and Heritage Ruby. Founded in 1670, Warre’s Port, from Symington Family Estates, is the first and oldest British port company established in Portugal. First, Warre’s signature style is floral, fresh and elegant, reflecting the characteristics of its higher-altitude vineyards. Late Bottled Vintage Port
For more than two centuries, consumers have considered Dow’s Port from Symington Family Estates as some of the finest port from the vineyards of the Upper Douro Valley in Portugal. Most importantly, Dow deserves its reputation. Certainly, we discovered this again when we opened a bottle of Dow’s 2016 Late Bottled Vintage Port. Welcome to Spirits
In the last year, we started to enjoy more cocktails in addition to wine. We even formed a small “booze group” with our Covid pod for new tasting experiences. For example, we expanded our taste portfolio to include Amaro, Japanese whisky and other spirts. Tawny Port
For more than two centuries, Dow’s Port from Symington Family Estates has been considered some of the finest port from the Upper Douro Valley in Portugal. Moreover, Symington recently relaunched the Dow’s Aged Tawny Port Collection to widespread acclaim. Therefore, we were pleased to receive samples of the 10- and 20-year-old Tawny Ports and, of course, held a side-by-side tasting. These ports both show fine fruit flavors with wood character.
