BBQ Reds 2020

Summer time means it’s grilling season! So bring out the glasses and fire up the BBQ. To complement ribs, juicy hamburgers or steaks, here are some rich reds that we’ve tasted recently from Washington, Oregon and California. In addition, don’t forget the reds that pair so well with salmon, halibut or swordfish barbecued on cedar planks.

Summary

In conclusion, pull out the reds and bring on the BBQ! Firstly, August and September continue to feature many beautiful nights that are perfect for grilling. Secondly, even fish can be barbecued on a cedar plank. One of our favorite pairings was grilled halibut and Oregon Pinot Noir. Thirdly, many reds do well with juicy barbecued burgers. And we loved flank steak with Cabernet Franc. For a special occasion, we enjoyed barbecued steak with Cabernet Sauvignon. Likewise, Syrah compliments steak or ribs. Most importantly, pop that cork and enjoy the rest of these warm summer evenings!

Cheers!
