Riedel wine tasting at Woodhouse in Woodinville

If you’ve never had the experience of a Riedel tasting seminar, now’s your chance.  Woodhouse Family Cellars is holding one on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 5:30 p.m.

The event is limited to the first 50 people, and the cost is $150, which includes a wine glass presentation, fine wine tasting (and regular readers know that I like Woodhouse wines so much that I do a wee bit of  consulting for them), an “appetizer reception,” and four Riedel glasses: Bordeaux/Cabernet, Burgundy/Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc/Dessert Wine, and Montrachet/Chardonnay.

If you’ve never tried this before, you’ll find that the shape and size of a glass effects the taste in eye-opening ways. For reservations, contact Jennifer at Woodhouse Family Cellars by Oct. 24: 425-527-0608 or jennifer@woodhouse-usa.com.

I went to a Riedel tasting seminar years ago in Portland, but I missed the opportunity at Taste Washington this year. They are amazing events and I hope to see you at Woodhouse next month!
